New Remix: Amy Winehouse's Rehab - 03/23/2007

Hi there, we never stop working, so we're proud to announce we just finished a remix of the huge pop hit "Amy Winehouse - Rehab" for Universal UK. On the same "main dancefloor" style of Jody Watley's remix, we're sure it will be a must-have for any house DJ. More details (and an audio clip) soon!

Someone like me finally released in the UK - 03/19/2007

We're happy to announce that Someone like me is being released during these days in the UK. The CD release will contain our radio and extended mix, plus 4 gorgeous remixes by DJ Pedro, Ian Carey, Soul Avengerz and Fish & Chips. Right in these weeks we've seen it topping some great charts (1st position in DMC World House Chart, 1st in DMCUpdate Club Chart and 1st in DMCUpdate Mainstream Chart), and it got already playlisted on Total Kiss FM. So far so good! During the first days of April, Indian Princess (the singer) will be off to Miami to shoot the music video, which will hopefully bring the single to main music TV channels!

Ultra Nate (remixed by Soulcast!) - 02/17/2007

In these last months, while we're seeing lots of buzz created around our Jody Watley's remix, which should be out very soon, we begun a proficuous collaboration with Peace Bisquit Records (NY), managed by the widely known NY-based A&R Bill Coleman. His label manages lots of the most respected house artists around and we're proud to work with them (Ultra Nate, Jody Watley, Chris Willis, Diana Ross, and many more). We're remixing two new tunes by Ultra Nate (with backing vocals by Chris Willis, the dream voice of David Guetta - Love don't let me go). Their title is: "Falling" and "Give it all you got". Stay tuned because we'll release more info about it pretty soon!

Jody Watley remixed by Soulcast - 01/17/2007

We just finished a very clubby house remix of the new great Jody Watley's single "I Want Your Love". Jody is a worldwide known pop/R&B singer and songwriter. The single comes out from Jody's new album "The Makeover". Check out her album here, it's awesome. Radio edit version of our remix is available to listen in our MP3 player.

Soulcast just remixed Erick Morillo feat. P. Diddy (originally out on Subliminal Rec), licensed on Oxyd Italy.
The remix is for clubs, and will satisfy who likes heavy/electro sounds for sure. Check it out in the audio player!

Upcoming new release - 09/13/2006

Our new single: Soulcast - Someone like me, which should autoplay in the music player below. A fresh summer anthem which has been doing well in UK during its promo phase. This track features the cool voice of Indian Princess, and will be available in stores soon. It will feature some cool remix from great artists, stay tuned!

Biography

Massimo Sanna and Francesco Giovannini are the Soulcast duo. They teamed up in 2001 and they come from different musical experiences.

Massimo Sanna played piano for 7 years during his youth, and moved to electronic music as the first sequencers arrived on the market at the age of 16, while Francesco was a DJ at the time. Since then, they always worked together, in different fields of dance music, from techno to soulful/funky house.

They appeared under some different names during the years (some techno projects under the nickname 2Advanced, Lovemakers, 4 Sins, Soulcast), and between their productions we can annoverate Lovemakers - This Feeling, released by Oxyd Records, which reached the first positions in every UK chart in 2004-2005 and has been licensed worldwide.

Lovemakers productions are really 70's-like tunes, with real instruments and the soulful voice of Sarah Grimaldi, a great singer with a superb talent, which works together with the famous pop/blues author Zucchero Fornaciari.

So what next? The guys are always working, and like to team up with lots of other artists and singers, so expect a 2007 full of suprises, we cannot disclose any detail right now!
